Integrations

Keep your tools. Connect the work.

Your clinic already has ad accounts, a Business Profile, a patient list and somewhere the team talks. SHMEL doesn’t need you to start over. Connect the accounts you already use and let SHMEL work across them.

Six live connections. Each one is an OAuth grant or a scoped app install in your account, revocable from your side without opening SHMEL.

SHMEL sits on top of what you already run.

Not another dashboard to log into and forget. The accounts stay where they are, in your name. SHMEL is the layer that makes them behave like one marketing department.

What SHMEL sees

  • Every campaign, ad group, keyword and search term
  • Spend and conversions, pulled every four hours
  • What each booked patient cost you

What SHMEL can do

  • Write new ads and edit the copy in place
  • Move budget between live campaigns, under your cap
  • Add negative keywords that spend and never book
  • Pause anything that stops booking
It can never reach your billing profile or payment method, any other ad account under the same login, account user management, or your Analytics data unless you connect that separately.

What SHMEL sees

  • Campaigns, ad sets, creative and spend
  • The same four-hourly pull as Google, against the same cost-per-booking target

What SHMEL can do

  • Build ad sets and creative variants
  • Shift budget between ad sets under your cap
  • Pause underperforming sets
It can never reach your Page inbox or direct messages, your follower and customer lists, or anyone’s personal profile. It does not build custom or lookalike audiences from patient data — there is none in the system to build them from.

Search and local

Google Business ProfileThe cheapest bookings you own, and the most neglected
Live today

What SHMEL sees

  • Views, calls and direction requests
  • What people searched to find you
  • Every review as it lands

What SHMEL can do

  • Post updates, offers and photos
  • Fix hours, categories and attributes when Google drifts them
  • Reply to the reviews that are safe to reply to
It can never change your business name, address or phone number, delete a review, or touch other locations under the same account. A clinical complaint is never answered by SHMEL — it goes to a person.

Where your team works

Teams and Slack do the same job: SHMEL works where the clinic already talks, so nobody has to remember to open a console.

How did Meta perform this week?

SHMEL

$1,940 spent, 27 booked at $72 each — under your $74 target. Two ad sets are carrying it and one is dead weight.

Same job as Teams

  • The morning briefing and the Monday report in one channel you choose
  • Approve or reject a draft without leaving Slack
  • Ask it a question and get the answer in the thread
It can never reach your other channels or anyone’s direct messages. The difference from Teams: SHMEL does not run as a full console tab inside Slack.

Email and patient reactivation

Live today
This one is not a connected account, and we would rather say so.

SHMEL does not log into Mailchimp or your Gmail. Email goes out through SHMEL’s own sending infrastructure, which runs under a BAA like the rest of the stack that can touch patient information. You upload or export the list; SHMEL writes the sequence, runs it past the same six compliance checks, and sends it.

What SHMEL works from

  • The patient list you give it
  • Opens, clicks, replies and unsubscribes on what it sent

What SHMEL can do

  • Write and schedule the sequences
  • Hold anything that fails a compliance check
  • Stop a sequence the moment someone books or opts out
Connecting an existing platform — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, your CRM’s email — is not live. If that is what you need, tell us and we will say where it sits.

Exactly what you’re authorising.

Four things a connection can allow. Here is which ones each live integration actually has.

“Compliance first” is not a setting you can switch off. A write permission lets SHMEL act inside the account; it does not let anything skip the six checks. What the six checks are.

Connecting an account is not handing over the keys.

A permission says what SHMEL is able to do. You still decide what it is allowed to do on its own — and you set that per job, not once for everything.

Autopilot

An example, not a default. Most clinics start everything supervised and move the safe jobs across once they trust what comes back. How the two modes work.

Connecting SHMEL shouldn’t be an IT project.

Three steps, done in the same sitting. No password sharing on any live integration — every one is an OAuth grant or a scoped app install you make yourself.

1Choose the account

Google Ads, Meta, your Business Profile, Teams or Slack. You pick which account, not us.

2Authorise SHMEL

You approve a named list of permissions on Google’s or Meta’s own screen. You never type a password into SHMEL.

3SHMEL starts reading

It reads the account first and tells you what it found before it changes anything.

What about your practice management system?

Fair question, and the honest answer is: direct connections are in build, not live. Here is what that means for you today.

In build

Direct PMS connections

We are building them, starting with the systems our own customers run. We are not going to put twenty logos on this page and let you assume yours works.

Live today

The audit needs no integration

SHMEL’s free dormant-patient audit works off an export. We tell you exactly which report to pull from your system and what to include — no connection, no credentials, no IT ticket.

Get the free audit
Your practice system One export you run SHMEL audit

The export you send for an audit is a list of appointment dates and treatment types. It is not a clinical record, and what happens to it afterwards is written down on the security page.

Connecting an account doesn’t mean everything gets shared everywhere.

Each connection carries what that job needs and nothing else. One direction in particular is closed.

Patient records are not turned into advertising audiences.

Not as a file, not as a list, not as an audience. SHMEL does not upload a patient record or identifier to Meta or Google, and does not build custom or lookalike audiences from your patients.

Your accounts stay yours.

Your Google Ads account stays yours. Your Meta account stays yours. Your data stays yours. SHMEL gets permission to work inside accounts you own — and you can take that permission back from your side, without asking us and without opening SHMEL.

Everything it built stays in your account. The campaigns, the posts, the pages, the record of what changed.

What’s live, what’s being built, and what isn’t.

We would rather have a short honest list than a long one you can’t trust.

Live

  • Google Ads
  • Meta Ads
  • Google Business Profile
  • Email sending
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Slack

In build

  • Instagram publishing
  • TikTok Ads
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Analytics 4
  • Review platforms beyond Google
  • Website drafts — WordPress
  • Booking calendar — availability only
  • Practice management systems

Being written now. Not on sale, and not something to plan around yet.

Exploring

  • Whatever clinics ask us for most

This column is deliberately empty of logos. It fills up from the requests below, and we will publish what people actually ask for once there is enough of it to be honest about.

Why Search Console and GA4 aren’t live yet

They are the obvious pair for the SEO work and they are in build. Until they are finished, SHMEL’s SEO reads your live pages and the Business Profile rather than your analytics. We are not going to list them as live because they sound like they should be.

Don’t see your tool? Tell us.

We will tell you honestly whether it is live, in build, on the list, or not something we plan to do. An answer either way beats a maybe.

A founder reads these. We use them to decide what gets built next, so the answer you get back is the real status, not a sales line.

Running something custom?

Larger medical groups don’t always run off-the-shelf systems. If your organisation has an internal CRM, a data warehouse or a workflow somebody built in-house, talk to us about connecting it. We will tell you on the call whether it is work we can take on and roughly what it involves — including when the answer is no.

Your tools don’t need another dashboard.

They need to work together.
